The Freestyle Orchestra is an interdisciplinary artistic collective of classically-trained musicians with a movement/circus background and contemporary circus artists with musical training who collaboratively author integrated performance experiences. They enjoy disrupting perceptions of what classical concerts look like and how they are presented, and exploring the interplay and intersectionalities between the physical and musical artists. Two of their new shows are presented here.
