Alluvial Gold is an interdisciplinary performance work that draws audiences into the changing worlds below river surfaces, revealing hidden narratives, materials and ecologies. Percussion, sculptural instruments, field recordings and electronics are seamlessly combined to create ‘a fine example of eco-artistry’. Informed by human impacts on river systems, a mysterious world of floating sounds spin off one another enveloping a space saturated in spectacular projection design using syrupy underwater video.
