“The New Cuba” This performance is intended to showcase a type of art music practice seldom seen and developed in the current Cuba. Using collective creation and real-time improvisation techniques, supported by an unusual set with electronically-processed classical instruments, analog synths and MIDI- controlled virtual instruments, the EIH aims to break the cliché image of Cuban music by producing a 30 min, non-stop, atmospheric, vibrational poem that could only be described as a rolling snowball made of sound.
