Setting the Stage for the Artists of Tomorrow

Changing perspectives of music competitions and talent development

Today’s classical music market is in dire need of individual voices! Simply being a virtuoso is no longer enough to build a sustainable career. Having an artistic vision and an intrinsic motivation to connect with an audience are vital, but how can and should these abilities be judged? Competitions have been around for a long time. Today, they are a platform for exchange, learning, dialogue, and communication. As competition strategy adapts, many are becoming more specialised, more artistically challenging and more focused on nurturing young talent.
Find out about some of the new initiatives setting the stage for a new generation of artists!
