Exporting Classical and Contemporary Music Today

Challenges and perspectives in a shifting world. Current state of export, its tools and leverages.

Musicians, artists, ensembles, festivals, artist agents, export offices… What are the best methods of exporting classical and contemporary music today?  How is the export of classical music evolving? What are recent shifts in the market? What are the impacts and perspectives? Is it organising residencies, participating in networking events, establishing long-term agreements with renowned festivals, etc., or is there something else? How is the export of classical and contemporary music generally supported in different countries, and how are the communities organised?

Let's discuss these strategies and explore some successful examples. During this panel, we will highlight, discuss and map innovative initiatives.
