Elizabeth Sills

Elizabeth is a champion of new music, and composers development and became PRS Foundation’s Grants and Programmes Manager in 2019. Here she manages the organisations classically focused work, including the fund and resource Resonate, which encourages professional orchestras to programme into their repertoire the best pieces of British music from the past 25 years, next level opportunities such as the Composers Fund ( which have supported Dani Howard, Daniel Kidane and Jasmin Kent Rodgman), and high-quality commissioning programmes such as Beyond Borders and New Music Biennial, involving curating an open call programme in City of Culture cities and the Southbank Centre. She also manages gender focussed scheme Women Make Music and has a broad range of experience across Talent Development platforms, collaborating previously across partnerships with the British Council for Musician in Residence opportunities and international conferences such as Classical Next for Composer Fellowship programmes.
