KULT – developing new concert rituals with the audience

With “KULT”, the Orchester im Treppenhaus questions concert habits and establishes new rituals: Twenty-three musicians and a conductor unleash the concert hall – and the audience.

People come together. A tingling community. In the room, too, high-percentage stimulants. Rimsky-Korsakov’s magical orchestral poem Scheherazade. Anna Clyne’s turbulent “Fractured Time”. A wave runs through the crowd. Some even dance. The orchestra hits the nerve. The clapping, the rhythm. Everyone together. Everyone now.
