Co-creation between artists and institutions

Inside Artists creates new perspectives at Beethovenfest Bonn

How can the potential of artistic practice be utilised as a driving force for the development of cultural institutions?

This was the initial question for the development of Inside Artists. Over nine months, six artists from the fields of photography, music and literature joined the Beethovenfest team to initiate co-creative collaborations and projects within the Beethovenfest institution. This panel gives insight into the idea behind the project and shows approaches for transferability of co-creative processes to other (cultural) institutions.

Inside Artists is a pilot project of the Beethovenfest Bonn and the Liz Mohn Stiftung as part of tuned – Netzwerk für zeitgenössische Klassik of the Kulturstiftung des Bundes and was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Martin Zierold, Director of the Institute for Arts and Media Management (KMM) at the University for Music and Theater Hamburg.
