Orchestra managements have to tackle multiple problems. Some of these issues are very tricky: dependencies within the organisation, relationships between managers, musicians and chief conductors, involvement of stakeholders in programming, the climate and format of discussions about internal affairs, workload and financial pressure, etc. Are there any recipes or methods which offer orientation and help?
