Clarissa Bevilacqua

(Violin)

Violinist Clarissa Bevilacqua is known to enchant audiences with her dazzling technical skills and deeply inspiring musicality. The programme of her performance will also include a selection of works from her new album. She describes it as follows:

My upcoming album, Mozartiana, features a carefully curated selection of eight diverse pieces that collectively highlight the profound and enduring influence Mozart has had on the evolution of classical music. Each work, while not composed by Mozart himself, resonates with his spirit and legacy. Hindemith’s sonata is a striking example, with its final movement serving as a theme and variations on a Lied by the Austrian composer.

Similarly, Kreisler’s Recitativo and Scherzo, though firmly rooted in the Romantic era, pays tribute to Mozart through elements of his style, such as operatic recitation and a Viennese-inspired waltz. However, the true standout of this program is the world premiere of Trazom by Giovanni Sollima.
This bold, genre-blending piece draws inspiration from Mozart’s iconic Concerto No. 3, exploring how Mozart’s influence continues to resonate in contemporary music today.
