Mentoring Session

Building your own artistic brand as a musician

Create your unique brand as a classical musician and build your fan base

In today’s evolving classical music industry, building a personal artistic brand is no longer optional—it’s essential for long-term success. This session, “Building your own Artistic Brand as a Musician,” addresses this important topic by discussing the necessity of building a personal connection to audiences via digital platforms through communication and relationship.

With traditional career pathways shifting, artists must take control of their visibility and career trajectory. This interactive mentoring session will explore how classical musicians can create unique, authentic brands that resonate with modern audiences, leveraging digital platforms and storytelling. Key questions include: What role does artistic branding play in securing concerts and creating opportunities? How can musicians balance the traditional classical path with new innovative ideas? What strategies can freelancers use to stand out in a competitive industry and create their own fan base? This session will empower musicians to think strategically about their careers and embrace branding as a core part of their artistic identity, to create relevance and their own success in the classical world.

Please note: this session is exclusively open to participants of the Classical:NEXT Fellowship Programme. Roundtable mentoring (45 min with 6 to 8 mentees maximum)Roundtable mentoring (45 min with 6 to 8 mentees maximum)
